Last week astronomers announced another new planetary discovery. This time, though, the planet is not in our solar system. However, it’s close. Very close.
A temperate telluric planet has been found around Proxima Centauri, our nearest stellar neighbor and recent answer to a Jeopardy question. Temperate telluric means that according to astronomical best guesses, this planet could support life as we know it. Proxima Centauri stands only 4.25 light years away, really a mere a hop, skip and a jump in universal terms.
Proxima Centauri is in an orbital relationship with Alpha Centauri and maintains it’s own 83-day orbit, while the planet promising life orbits Proxima Centauri every 11.186 days. Think how old you’d be on that planet! The potentially habitable planet is estimated to be 1.3 Earth masses. One side of the planet always faces the star it orbits, much like our moon maintaining the same face with Earth.
The planet orbiting Proxima Centauri is now one of 3,516 known extra-solar planets (as of 8/25). The position of Proxima Centauri, and subsequently this planet, is 29 Scorpio 22.
What does this mean?
Our planet has new neighbor. A close new neighbor, so better to be cosmically cool with who’s new in the celestial cul de sac. Jupiter is about to enter Libra. Venus is there already. Is it time to build good fences, to create/restore hospitable relationships? Absolutely.
I wonder what Putin would think if Proxima Centaurians showed up on Earth’s doorstep? Or Kim Jong Un with his new submarine missile capability? Or the President-elect of the U.S. of A.? I’m reminded of the film, The Day the Earth Stood Still. Not the recent movie by the same title; the original. The one where Gort single-handedly demonstrated superior firepower to anything Earthlings possessed. The one in which global cooperation was the theme.
Is it time for the awareness of the limits of humankind and how our position in the cosmos makes a difference? Should a consciousness of universal awareness and universal participation by every creature and living thing on Earth be advanced? We are, after all, on the cusp of a suspected discovery of another planet in our own solar system.
The evidentiary effects of Planet 9 have been to perturb, stretch and expand the orbits of other objects in the Kuiper Belt. Symbolically, much can be gleaned from this: When perturbed, stretch, extend vision for long range perceptions and expand the reach of the sphere of influence.
Nothing could please more the presumably negotiating efforts of Jupiter standing in the wings. Nothing could suit Venus more than the current awareness that everyone wants what they want, and there is a way for all to be sustained and satisfied without the denial of the downtrodden and negative competition on the path of personal progress.
Mars now aligns with the Great Attractor (14 Sag 17). Accordingly, energy must be placed on the inclusion of all, the exclusion of none. There can be no hidden agendas. Full transparency that rides a wave of consciousness applies to all persons and all great ideas.
Since the Great Attractor is massive in its gravitational grasp and under Mars’ hot spot magnifier, take time to notice natural attractions. Attend to everything that captures your eye, rivets your attention and summons you hither. There’s some insight in those pulls and persuasions. When a trigger thought is realized and applied, an avalanche of consciousness follows in a wave that while a trifle overwhelming, carries you to ultra-exhilarated heights. If you’re the one who bites on the galactic bait trigger, guess what? Others push you front and center expecting your lead. If you are called upon to know something that feels like it’s above your pay grade, relax. Sit back. Follow the flow of ideas and organically gravitate toward the nucleus of what weaves the web of real life incidents that surround you into a tidy, cosmic mandala. There you shall be - smack dab in the center - wielding your own influence to all drawn to you by cosmic commonality.
This is a time of expansion of our understanding of our solar system, our galaxy and beyond. This is a time of living that well-used axiom, “As above, so below.” Feeling the pulls of the Great Attractor and lining up with the consciousness wave just around the next bend means you might be the next in line for some of the heavy lifting required to bring the heavens to earth.
And a last minute edit... the point in space where astronomers are reporting a signal comes from the star system HD164595, positioned at 0 Capricorn 14. Nothing to report other than it's position at this point.
